Coin display is coming to Deni

September 13, 2017

The Royal Australian Mint is set to see the other side of the coin when they depart Canberra and head to Deniliquin next month, as part of a national tour celebrating 100 years since the establishment of the Trans-Australian Railway.

According to the official Royal Australian Mint Facebook page, a ‘Pop-Up Mint’ is expected to feature in Deniliquin in October ‘‘to bring the people of Australia a piece of coining history’’.

Although official dates and location are yet to be confirmed, the shop will have collectible coins and stamps on offer, including ones commemorating the centenary of the Trans-Australian Railway and 100 years of Anzac.
