Deniliquin staff of Murray Local Land Services will be consolidated at a single site starting next week.
From Tuesday, October 17, it will operate from 449 Charlotte St, Deniliquin.
The move will bring together staff from the existing offices in Victoria St and Hay Rd.
It is the final step in the amalgamation of the former Murray Catchment Management Authority, Riverina Livestock Health and Pest Authority and extension services of the NSW Department of Primary Industries.
The merger was implemented on January 1, 2014, and staff have been working from separate offices since then.
Murray Local Land Services general manager Gary Rodda said the consolidation of Deniliquin staff was a positive step for the organisation.
‘‘This move will enable us to deliver better, more integrated services to customers, and allow for a much more cohesive work environment for staff,’’ he said.
‘‘It’s very much a win-win for us, and we’re looking forward to serving the community of Deniliquin and surrounds from this location for a long time to come.’’
The relocation will occur this weekend.
MLLS will be closed for business on Monday, October 16 to allow staff to set up work areas and settle into the new office.
With the new premises will come a new telephone number, with Deniliquin staff able to be contacted on (03)58819900.
