Late goal seals win for Liefting's

November 04, 2017

Senior futsal kicked off at the stadium on Thursday night last week.

Team 1 took on Liefting Constructions in a close match.

A hard fought first half ended 3-all with goals from new recruits Aaron Piercy, Richard Alpen and Zac Whyborn.

Team 1 took an early lead in the second half but some well crafted teamwork saw Liefting's take the lead with only 30 seconds to spare. Final score 6-5.

Exchange played Logic Box with notable performances from TK Naidoo, Mark Plant and Brody Flight.

Nothing could split the sides at full time, with the score 4-all.

Goals were shared between Sam Marshall, Andrew Brain, Jacob Hird, Sean Geary and Matt Song.

In the final match Fleming Partners hammered John James Electrical 9-2.

Veteran Aaron Royston started strong with four goals and new recruit Luke Freer netted a hat-trick.
