Coolant clean-up

November 25, 2017

Deniliquin NSW Fire & Rescue was called to a suspected oil spill on the Wakool Rd on Tuesday afternoon, believed to be caused by a broken down bus.

The brigade was called just before 6pm, and Deputy Captain Les Booth said the leak turned out to be coolant from the bus.

He said it had stopped at the side of the road due to engine trouble and the coolant had pooled on the road.

Firefighters used Hazmat equipment to clean up the liquid.
