A special Christmas celebration will be held at St Michael’s Church and School this Sunday.
The ‘St Michael’s Festivities’ event starts at 11am and will include fun for the whole family.
Event coordinators Julie Morona and Jennifer Waterfall said the inaugural event is the first of its kind for the St Michael’s Parish, and the idea is to bring the community together.
‘‘It’s designed to bring parishioners and the rest of the community together,’’ Mrs Morona said.
‘‘We’d love to see everyone from the community come along.
‘‘The celebration will be held in the St Michael’s Sisters of Mercy Hall from 11am and morning tea will be provided.
‘‘The St Michael’s School Choir will perform as well as other local musicians, however the final line-up is still being finalised.
‘‘Santa will be there to hand out lollies to the children, and we’ll also have some outdoor games.
‘‘Everything is free and it’s open to everyone.’’
