A pop-up cinema will be screening in Deniliquin in early January, featuring four popular films over four days.
The outdoor cinema will be set up on the picturesque Edward River Oval, where there will be food trucks, popcorn and other snacks and a bar on site.
Film nights will be from Thursday, January 4 to Sunday, January 7 with gates opening at 6pm for all screenings. The movies will start from nightfall.
Disney animated film Big Hero 6 is the first showing on January 4, followed by the PG rated family film Red Dog the next night.
The popular The Lego Batman Movie will be screened on January 6, and for an older crowd, the comedy Step Brothers will be screened on the final night (rated MA 15+).
The screenings are free if you book online at cinemapopup.com.au, or $10 for adults at the gate and $5 for a child.
The event has been coordinated by Edward River Council in conjunction with Cinema Pop Up.
