A 39 year-old Deniliquin man wanted on outstanding arrest warrants was reportedly found hiding in the cupboard of a Deniliquin home on Saturday, according to police.
Police said they were called to a home in Macauley St about 9.30pm on December 30 to respond to an incident.
While at the home, police conducted a search for the man.
During the search, police allegedly found two cannabis plants growing in a makeshift greenhouse in the rear yard.
The plants were seized and police continued to search the house for the man, who was allegedly found hiding in a bedroom cupboard.
He was arrested and taken to Deniliquin Police Station where he was charged with a number of outstanding matters relating to the arrest warrants.
He was bail refused and appeared before Deniliquin Local Court on Sunday, and again refused bail pending a court appearance this month.
