Edward River Council is calling for community feedback and input on its town Christmas decorations.
Council general manager Adam McSwain said staff had received some comments from community members calling for an improved display.
He said an online survey had been developed to collect feedback and ideas so council could budget and plan for this year’s festive season.
‘‘As a council we are committed to continuous improvement and seeking community feedback and ideas,’’ he said.
“As a result, we have developed a survey that allows the community to comment on the 2017 Christmas decorations and provide ideas and comments for 2018.
‘‘While there are budget and resource constraints on what we can do, we think by better understanding the community need and partnering earlier in the year with the Business Chamber, businesses, community and service groups, we can achieve a great result.’’
The survey will close on Friday, February 23.
