Fuel spill in Cressy St

by
April 09, 2018

There was a small fuel spill at a Cressy St fuel station in Deniliquin on Wednesday.

At 9.37am, Deniliquin NSW Fire and Rescue was called to the business to clean up the hazard.

Captain Martin Smith said the source of the spill could have been from a vehicle’s fuel tank that had overflowed or a container that may have spilt from the back of a ute.

He said crew members used a specialised material to spread over the spill to prevent the ground from being slippery.

Minimal disruption was caused to traffic, Capt Smith said.
