More than 100 locals donned something red to take part in the annual Deni Kisses Goodbye to MS river walk on Sunday morning.
Participants followed the scenic Edward River path from McLean Beach to Willoughby’s Beach and back to raise funds and awareness for the chronic disease Multiple Sclerosis.
Event organiser Robbie Landale said she once again wanted to thank the wider community for supporting the walk.
‘‘A big thank you to everyone who donated and supported this wonderful event,’’ Mrs Landale said.
‘‘It was a lovely morning and we were very happy with how the walk went.’’
Red is the national colour for MS awareness, and walkers had no trouble coordinating the colour into their outfit. Each participant also made a $5 donation to take part and they were treated to a barbecue when back at McLean Beach.
