Blighty will want to replicate its recent strong form with an away win against Katamatite tomorrow.
The Redeyes had no problems knocking off Jerilderie by 157 points last Saturday, whereas Katamatite is coming off a bye.
The Tigers have struggled this season, winning just two games and having an average losing margin of 62 points across their six losses.
Despite what looks like a comfortable four points on offer, Blighty coach Jack Tyndall said his side won’t be taking any chances.
‘‘We don’t take any teams lightly regardless of where they are on the ladder, and with them coming off a bye they’ll have the fresh legs.
‘‘We played Katamatite in a practice game earlier in the year and won by about 10 goals. They had quite a few missing for that game so in a way they’ve seen our best players and we’ll be wary of that,’’ he said.
Blighty will be without defenders Jack Bunnett and Cody Jordan through injury, while key onballer Judd Barnes (calf) will miss his second game in a row.
With the Redeyes sitting third on the ladder they’ll be looking for big wins over the Tigers and Rennie the following week before taking on ladder leader Waaia.
Tomorrow’s match is at Katamatite.
Selection: Blighty by 15 goals.
