Murray River Police District investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Henry St at about 10.45am today (Tuesday, July 21).
It is part of Strike Force Horrie, launched earlier this month, to investigate the importation of prohibited drugs in the Deniliquin area.
During the search of the property, investigators located and seized 84 bottles of a substance found in four cardboard boxes.
Testing confirmed the contents of the bottle as being 1,4-Butanediol, also known as liquid ecstasy.
These items were seized and will undergo further forensic examination.
The man was arrested at the home and taken to Deniliquin Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug of a large commercial quantity and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and is due to face Deniliquin Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22).
Investigations under Strike Force Horrie are continuing.
