The popular store is now part of the Toyworld group, which means there’s an even greater range of toys and games available at the George St store.
Manager Matthew Purtill said Wired first made an application to become a Toyworld distributor more than two years ago.
They were finally successful earlier this year, and the store in now fully stocked ahead of a catalogue sale starting next week.
‘‘Working with Toyworld gives us a exciting and expanded range,’’ Mr Purtill said.
‘‘It includes being able to sell Lego, which has already been very popular with our customers.
‘‘We actually have a whole wall of Lego, suitable for everyone from kids to adults.
‘‘We now also have a greater range of Barbie, or Mattel, products and Fisher Price.
‘‘A partnership with Toyworld gives us more access to well known brands like these.’’
Mr Purtill said next week’s catalogue will be the first of many, particularly as Christmas approaches.
And he said if there’s anything you don’t see included, the same friendly staff you’re used to at Wired can assist with special orders.
‘‘This is all about offering more to our customers, and we’re willing to take lay-by for Christmas now,’’ Mr Purtill said.
‘‘We will also continue as a Jaycar Reseller, with all the same products and lines in electronics also available.’’
