MOAMA Bowling Club is offering local businesses a multi-faceted opportunity to become involved in major national and international events.

With the club set to host three major events between November 2019 and February 2020, they are hoping to help generate revenue and increase tourism in the twin towns.

Bowls Australia chief executive Neil Dalrymple will attend an informal information session tonight to provide traders with details on projected visitors and how their business could benefit.

‘‘We want to be able to expose our region to the world,’’ MBC sport administrator Zane Mikin-Laurie said.

‘‘The club has already had expressions of interest from international visitors. We want to be able to work with the community to make these events as successful as possible.’’

Key events include the first World Bowls Challenge on November 29 and 30 — which will see Australia take on a Rest of the World team, with 10 players on each side.

Players will be involved in singles, doubles and triples action.

Just two weeks later, the third and final round of the Ultimate Bowls Challenge will take place on December 12 and 13.

While the Bowls Premier League will round out the trio of events in February.

All events will be aired on free-to-air or Foxtel — while a livestream will be available for international supporters.

Matches will also be telecast into Asia and Europe.
