This is the fifth running of the Finley Autumn Cup and the meeting will comprise five races on Saturday, March 16.
Gates open at 11am and the family friendly atmosphere promises to create a perfect day of country racing.
Last year’s event saw a local Cup winner with Berrigan trainer Paul McVicar claiming the feature race with Maco Napret.
Berrigan Race Club is a group of hard working local volunteers and every year the racecourse is beautifully presented for all the on track action.
But the day isn’t just about racing with the ever popular Fashions on the Field competition.
Categories include Lady of the Day, Couple of the Day, Little Racegoer Under 10 Years, and Young Racegoer 11-18 years.
There is a large public bar, and of course there are bookmakers and TAB available.
Buses will run from Finley to Berrigan and back on the day.
Seats are available in the reserved marquee for $15 per seat or $150 for a table of 10.
The autumn racing period is always exciting across the Southern Riverina with the Tocumwal Easter Races and Deniliquin Anzac Day Races among the popular highlights.
For more information or to book a spot in the marquee contact Berrigan Race Club secretary Carolyn Alexander 0427 668 062.
