Dog, ute taken from Deni

By Deniliquin Pastoral Times

Police are investigating the theft of a dog and a ute in two separate incidents.

A Staffordshire Terrier has been stolen from a home in Deniliquin’s west.

The brindle-coloured ‘staffy’, which was wearing a black colour, was left in the rear yard of the Maher St home between 10.30pm Sunday and 8.30am Monday.

Police said there appears to be no evidence the gate locks were tampered with.

A Deniliquin resident has returned home from holidays to find their car had been stolen from outside their Poictiers St home.

The car — a red 1989 Holden Rodeo ute — was left on December 24 and was discovered missing on Sunday, January 6.

Anyone with information about either theft is asked to contact Deniliquin Police on 58819299.
