Visitor charged

A 37 year-old man from the Hunter Valley in NSW has been charged with drink driving, after being stopped by police in Deniliquin last week.

Police said they stopped the man’s car in Davidson St, north Deniliquin about 7.50pm Wednesday.

After allegedly returning a positive result, the man was taken to Deniliquin Police Station where a blood alcohol reading of 0.095 was recorded. The man was charged with mid range drink driving and had his licence suspended pending court in Deniliquin on April 3.
