Two people have had their driving licences suspended after being charged in separate drink driving incidents on Sunday.
Police stopped a car in Victoria St, north Deniliquin about 12.45am Sunday for a random breath test. They allege the 75 year-old Deniliquin man behind the wheel returned a positive roadside test.
A blood alcohol reading of 0.119 was later recorded at Deniliquin Police Station, leading to a mid-range drink driving charge and the suspension pending a court appearance.
A 21 year-old Colac man was also charged with mid-range drink driving after being stopped in Cressy St, west Deniliquin at 2.50am Sunday.
Police said the driver, a Victorian P-plate licence holder, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.090 at the station. He has also been ordered to appear in court.
