Since the Napier St revitalisation works started, owner Kate Oddy said they have remained loyal customers and now line up their bikes in Wyse Lane next to the store.
‘‘They display their pride and joy out the front of our shop and we can’t wait to have them lined up out their again soon,’’ Mrs Oddy said.
‘‘They are a real drawcard for our street on a Saturday morning as many people, young and old, pass by and stop to appreciate the work that has gone into restoring some of these beautiful bikes.
‘‘A simple drawcard like this encourages economic growth as people take the time to have a look at the shops along our street as well as the motorcycles.’’
Milk recall
If you bought milk from Coles Express in North Deniliquin, you had best check the label.
There has been a recall of Coles brand fresh full cream 2L milk with the use by date of July 2, 2019.
Testing identified the presence of the microbial contamination of E.coli and may cause illness if consumed. These were sold at Coles Express sites in North Deniliquin, Tocumwal, Albury and Victoria.
It comes after eight varieties of milk sold in Victoria and southern NSW were also recalled last week amid fears they may contain cleaning solution.
Support for Julie
The sad tale of local women Julie Pearn locked out of her Deniliquin home by squatters has gone viral after A Current Affair covered the story, following its initial release by the Pastoral Times on May 31.
Many locals have started calling on volunteers (with Julie’s approval) to support and assist her to repair, replace and clean her home once a female squatter is removed.

Engaging night
The PT’s senior advertising consultant, Amy Gretgrix, was one of three contenders for the inaugural Gaye Riggall Fellowship at the Business Excellence Awards on Friday night (our congratulations to the winner Jesse Taylor, and other finalist Julia Druitt).
But it was still a night Amy will remember for the rest of her life.
After the awards ceremony Amy received a romantic marriage proposal from her partner, Bodey Reynolds, and has a stunning engagement ring to prove it.

Spotlight shines
Friday night’s Business Excellence Awards certainly shined a spotlight on the vast array of business talent in our community, in particular the up and coming entrepreneurs.
Perhaps we were seeing a ‘changing of the guard’ in local business circles, because some of the stalwarts from the last 10 to 20 years were not present.
The young talent in our business community tells us those who have been to the forefront in the past don’t have to worry too much about the future, as it appears to be in pretty good hands.
Minister attends
It is not often a federal government Minister is a guest at the Business Excellence Awards, but that was the case on Friday night.
Recently re-elected Member for Farrer Sussan Ley, who was promoted to Environment Minister in the new Coalition Cabinet, was in attendance.
Also spotted was former Murray Irrigation CEO Mike Renehan and wife Janet, the previous executive officer of the Business Chamber. They have stepped down from their respective local roles, although officially this is Mr Renehan’s final week.
Sam’s big grab
Former Deni Ram Sam Lloyd made a claim for AFL Mark of the Year with a high-flying grab in the Western Bulldogs clash with Collingwood on Sunday afternoon.
Lloyd is making a name for himself at the Bulldogs and played another solid game in the side’s narrow - many would say unlucky - loss to one of the premiership favourites.
He was one of the side’s most dangerous forwards and booted two goals, but with a slice of luck could have had an extra couple.
