JUST go out and do your thing. Rochester’s A grade netball side did exactly that when it cruised to a 72-30 victory over Euroa in the Goulburn Valley League on Saturday.

Despite a first-up loss to Echuca, confidence levels remained high for the Tigerettes.
And it well and truly showed in a dominant display.
‘‘It’s nice to get such a comfortable win so early in the season,’’ coach Linda Rasmussen said.
‘‘We were able to take advantage of a young side and get the game on our terms.
‘‘The girls were exceptional, they did everything we asked of them.’’
While Rasmussen elected not to make major changes to her line-up, players on court attempted to implement the tactics employed during pre-season.
‘‘We just wanted to let the girls play, we’re still learning as a team,’’ she said.
‘‘It was really pleasing to see the girls try different combinations which we’ve put in place.
‘‘To get that opportunity on a regular basis against opposition doesn’t come around often.’’
Again, it was the familiar names of Ellie Cuttriss and Morgan Dingwall who led the way for the Tigers.
‘‘Ellie and Morgan have started the season in stunning fashion,’’ Rasmussen said.
‘‘They’ve shown real leadership and the rest of the girls are following.
‘‘It makes things a lot easier when you have strong leaders on the court.’’
The Tigerettes now turn their attention to a clash with Kyabram on Saturday, a game which will provide a stern test for Rasmussen’s side.
In two matches last season, the ledger was spilt at one win apiece as both sides won on their home court.
‘‘We’re expecting another tough game,’’ she said.
‘‘If we can play like we did against Euroa we will give ourselves a good chance of winning.
‘‘Now it’s all about carrying our momentum forward.’’
