Mathoura overcame Lockington by 30 shots, winning on all three rinks to record an 87 to 57 margin at Moama Bowling Club.
Skipper Glen McConchie, Garry Hulm, Peter Wilson and David Murray had a close battle on their hands, managing a four shot win, 23 to 19.
Pam Lewis, Peter Cowley, Craig Hillier and Ray Murphy (s) were also in a tight match, managing to just pip their opponents by just one shot, 25 to 24.
The team of Adam Cowley, Wayne Cowley, Ash Prime and Tim Starkey (s) made sure their side was leaving with the premiership, absolutely decimating their opponents in a 39 to 14 victory.
Division Four team manager David Murray said it was the perfect way to cap off a great season for the club.
‘‘We’ve had such a good year as a club,’’ he said.
‘‘We obviously won the flag on Saturday, Division Two made finals and our ladies side stepped up to Division One in the Midweek Pennant and made finals.
‘‘Our Division Four side was just thrown together at the start of the year.
‘‘None of us had played together before but we all just clicked.
‘‘We went through the season with only two losses, so that’s not too bad for a group that didn’t know each other well before the season started.
‘‘You take us away from bowls and we all don’t have much else in common, but now we all share a premiership win together.’’
