Deniliquin North Public School Students battled the rugged terrain of the Deniliquin State Forest at Memorial Park track last Friday for their annual cross country.

The rain held off long enough for the sun to heat up the hotly contested event.
Students aged eight years and above competed to secure a place in the DNPS Cross Country Squad. Those students are set to run it out again, competing for a spot on the Riverina PSSA team, which will be held on the May 31.
