Tungamah 60 defeated Rennie 39.
Rennie knew the 3rd placed side Tungamah was going to be a tough ask this week with some key players away in the Hopper side.
The defence duo Mikayla McAuliffe and Brooke Knight played an outstanding game, but the shooting class of GS (Chelsea) from Tungamah made the key difference.
Brylee McCarty stepped into GA in the 3rd quarter and was a clear stand out in the ring getting the best of her defender.
A strong, more experienced Tungamah side ran away with the win with some very tough plays across the court during the game.
The 17s girls once again stepped up and played well.

Rennie knew last weekend would be tough against a top team. With a few players out the Hoppers fought hard but weren't able to gain any momentum.
Superb defence by Gupp and Emmi really putting pressure on Tunga’s experienced goalers. Thank you to the juniors for stepping up again, you did the club proud.

Well done to the girls this weekend on continuing to bring into the game the specific things that has been working on at training.
It is never an easy task playing against people you know, and the coaches couldn't be prouder of the way the Rennie girls held their heads high, had some fun and worked together as a team.
A few more games to go before finals, so let's keep working together and bringing the fire to each round.
A quick mention to the Tungamah girls: You should all be so proud on your performance as a team. As an opposition it was so nice to hear you all supporting each other and even the Rennie girls as well.
A game that showed true sportsmanship on both sides.

This week the Hopper girls played a Friday night game against Tungamah with some extra spectators which was great to see.
It was a slow start for the Rennie girls in this game with being a bit different to the normal Saturday morning.
It took the girls a moment to switch on and get settled onto the court. As the game continued the Hopper girls worked it out and relaxed into the game.
Rennie had some great drives from Violett and Iris in attack and worked on looking down the court for the best option rather then passing backwards.
With the guidance from A/B Coach Paula Mifka it was great to see the girls take her advice and put it into action on the court.
Every girl played a great game this week and it is great to see how far they have all come.

A great game played by the Hopper girls this week. It was a close game too.
The defenders were on top of the ball 100%, intercepting many balls, resulting in a turn over.
The mid court focused on spreading out and moving to the space which they did very well. The shooters once again shot amazingly and worked around the ring beautifully. Great game.
