Tungamah 52 defeated Picola United 27.
The Tungamah girls were chasing a win to finish the season off strong. With new combo through the mid court again this week, the girls adapted well.
Standout for the game playing an amazing game in WA/C was Maddie! Leisa played a strong game in GS. Liv and Chloe held down the defence end and created lots of opportunities.
Penny and Anna stepped up and killed it. The A Grade thanks all the B grade girls and the lovely under 17s Lily and Em that have helped over the past 6-8 weeks to get through.

B Grade
Tungamah 57 defeated Picola United 36.
The Bears girls started the game strong with each player putting the game plan in to action beautifully. Mariah Duffy played a strong game in the midcourt. Penny Thomson played a blinder in the second half. Each player played their role to notch up a good win. Was great to have Caz Purcell back to bring some grunt back to the huddles.
Alice in Wonderland will hopefully be back on the court soon as she struggles wearing the first aid vest.

C Grade
Tungamah 37 defeated Picola United 28.
For the final game of the home and away season the C Grade had a few players out but the team were positive that the available players would get the win.
Adele returned from holidays and gave the midcourt some extra run-in centre and WA. Amber played her attacking game well but stepped up in WD putting a huge amount of pressure on their attacking end and gaining lots of turnovers.
Elli Buerckner made her senior netball debut providing fresh legs into C in some of the last quarter.
Dan, Haylea and Loz worked well in goals and adapted well to a very tall defence. Grace and Hannah worked amazing together in the defensive end in GD and GK and got their hands on lots of tips, intercepts and rebounds.
Bern provided stability to the midcourt to control the pace of the game and make space in transition down the court. Thanks to Jade for providing an extra option on the bench.

C Reserve
Tungamah 25 defeated by Picola United 34.
The C Reserve team took the court for their final game of the season with a determined mindset.
A tightly contested first quarter saw the Bears one goal up at the first break. Keeping the team the same in the second saw the lead extend to two at half time.
Picola settled in the third and took a four-goal lead into the last break. A great effort by the Bears in the last saw the final margin of 9 goals.
Danielle, Jasmine and Mel worked really well together in the ring. Jess, Bella, Amy and Jade provided beautiful options in the midcourt.
Ruby, Cait and Sally strong in defence. A special mention to Bella’s short time in the goal ring.
A huge thanks to coach Bridget Saunders for her commitment and guidance of the team this year. It has been so much fun and the improvement for each player was so great to see.

Under 17s
Tungamah 28 defeated Picola United 13.
It was a need to win game to make finals for the Under 17s girls. They have been working really hard over the last couple of weeks focusing on the little things. The girls all played a great game.
Awards: Central Murray Credit Union – Lily and Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club – Dimity.
Under 15s
Tungamah 33 defeated Picola United 22.
Amazing effort from all the girls, everyone pushed hard and did an awesome job. Well done girls.
Awards: Arnolds family – Elli and Wingates – Maddi.
Under 13s
Tungamah 27 defeated Picola United 9.
The Tungamah under 13s team ended their season on a high note with a dominant win over Picola.
The girls displayed their exceptional skills and teamwork right from the beginning of the game, effectively disrupting their opponents’ centre passes.
Their ability to make impressive interceptions resulted in numerous goals, giving them an early lead.
As the game progressed, the team’s momentum continued to build, with each player focusing on improving their passing accuracy and communication on the court.
The final score of 27-9 in favour of Tungamah solidified their place in the top 4 for the upcoming finals.
It was a fantastic way to conclude the season for the girls, showcasing their talent and determination.

Under 11s
The girls had a great time for their last game of the year. All of the girls have made huge improvements for the season and the coaches are very proud of their efforts.
Managing a team of 15 players has been easy with the girls having positive attitudes and offering each other great support.
Good luck to all of the girls who move up next year and the coaches can’t wait to see what these amazing kids bring to the court for Tungamah in the years to come.
