Almost 50 people are now registered to sleep out in Deniliquin’s CBD this Thursday, and help raise awareness of homelessness.
Among the newly registered participants in the Vinnies Services organised charity event is Federal Senator for NSW Perin Davey.
There is still time to sign up for the Sleepout, with registrations taken up to and on the night. All donations and sponsorship collected by participants will fund support services.
You don’t have to sleep out to be involved in event, with community members asked to show their support in the CBD on Thursday. There will be live music throughout the night and a ‘soup kitchen’ operating.
