The amount donated was a portion of proceeds from the event's Wall of Fame dinner and annual Truck Show & Industry Expo held in October.
Truck Show president Evan Whitbourne said the committee felt supporting the event was also a great way to support a strong local family.
The Deniliquin Cupid's Undie Run is coordinated by Adam and Meg Marshall to benefit the Children's Tumour Foundation.
Their inspiration is their son Eddie, who has neurofibromatosis type 1 - a serious, incurable and unpredictable genetic condition that can cause tumours to grow on any nerve cell throughout the body, including the brain and spinal cord.
"This fundraiser can benefit local people, so the committee felt it was a very worthwhile cause," Mr Whitbourne said.
"Adam and Meg came to our dinner in October and told us all about Eddie's condition, the Children's Tumour Foundation and the Undie Run.
"And when there is a child in need, it really tugs on the heart strings."
Another $3200 in proceeds from the 2019 Truck Show has also been donated.
Receiving $1000 each will be the Hay Rust n Dust Rally and Deniliquin Australia Day Float events. Receiving $600 each will be the Deniliquin Pastoral & Agricultural Society and the Country Women's Association.
The Marshalls held the first Cupid's Undie Run in February this year, and received so much support they turned it into an annual event.
Usually held on or near Valentine's Day, they have decided to defer the event this year to take advantage of better weather conditions.
"It was so hot when we held it in February this year, and we also find that date competes with the Deniliquin Fishing Classic," Mrs Marshall said.
"So next year we will hold the Undie Run on March 22 instead.
"Like this year, the activities will be based at The Crossing Cafe."
A pre-event comedy night fundraiser will also be held at the Blighty Hotel on January 4.
The Marshalls say with more help, they could make the Undie Run even bigger in 2020.
They are seeking volunteer photographers, warm up instructors, ambassadors, entertainers and sponsors.
