The library will now be open from 10am to 4pm on weekdays, and from 10am to noon on Saturdays.
Library users will still need to follow strict COVID-19 regulations, which includes no access to newspapers or public computers.
Only basic borrowing and returning services will be provided, and users are being asked to limit the time they spend in the library.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, visitors are required to:
● use the provided hand sanitiser;
● sign in upon entry, to enable contact tracing;
● limit the amount of time spent in the library, a maximum of 20 minutes is advised; and
● Stay 1.5 metres apart, avoid physical greetings and continue to practise good hand hygiene.
The Click & Collect service will still be available. Go to the library catalogue to select your items. Any request submitted before 1pm will be available to pick up on the same day.
Digital services like BorrowBox for Audio books and eBooks and RB Digital for full-colour digital editions of your favourite magazines are also still available, as are Story Box Library streams — ad-free content directly into your home on any device with internet connection.
It can be storytime anytime with a range of actors, comedians, sportspeople, musicians, authors, TV presenters, performers, students, grandparents, activists and educators each sharing their unique voice.To access Story Box Library, click here and enter your library card barcode number (located on the back of your membership card) and click the log in button.
