Suspended driver charged
A 21 year-old Deniliquin man has been ordered to appear in court after being charged with driving while suspended.
The man’s car was initially stopped in Henry St, Deniliquin on Sunday for random testing.
Checks revealed his licence has been suspended between April 26 and July 25 due to demerits.
Petrol theft
An undisclosed amount of petrol was reportedly stolen from a north Deniliquin service station last week.
Service station attendants told police a car pulled up to a bowser about 8.45am on April 28, and dispensed the petrol.
Staff allege the driver then got back in the car and drove away without making any attempt to pay.
Police inquiries are continuing.
Driving while disqualified
A 23 year-old Deniliquin woman is to appear in court for allegedly driving while disqualified.
Police said the woman’s licence was disqualified by the courts in February, and in place until August this year.
The woman was initially stopped driving in Butler St, Deniliquin about 9.45pm on April 29 for a random breath test.
When she was unable to produce her licence when asked, checks revealed the disqualification.
