The exhibit was enjoyed by all residents, one in particular who will not be named, could not stop dancing throughout the entire display.
The group enjoyed the display of incredible costumes worn by the King himself, his beloved Harley Davidson and the live performances being played on the big screens.
Orana Auxilary president Maureen Strutt said after a tough few years with lockdowns and COVID related issues, it was wonderful to get the residents out for the day.
“They all enjoyed it so much,” said Mrs Strutt.
“It was really a perfect day, to get them all out and see the exhibition.
“And we finished the day off with a lovely lunch by the lake.”
The cost of the trip was covered by the Orana Auxilary.
