Car stolen from Kialla West property and torched

Police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was stolen in Kialla West and later torched yesterday morning.

Shepparton police Detective Senior Constable Jacob Sinclair said the blue Nissan Navara dual cab ute was stolen between 2.30am and 9am.

The vehicle had been advertised for sale on the nature strip at an address along the Goulburn Valley Hwy in Kialla West.

Det Sen Const Sinclair said the vehicle was later located burnt out on Union Rd near Kerr Rd in Karramomus at 11.15am.

"The vehicle was completely destroyed by fire and is being treated as suspicious," he said.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a vehicle matching the description in the Kialla West or Karramomus areas yesterday.
