Deniliquin footballer Todd Marshall has earnt the praise of AFL Hall of Famer Terry ‘Plough’ Wallace.
Wallace named the Port Adelaide key forward as on of the 20 forwards he believes will take a “quantum leap” in 2020.
The 254 AFL/VFL game superstar, who played for Hawthorn, Richmond and Footscray during his career, said that with more opportunity at senior level, the former Deni Rams junior should thrive in the AFL.
“I really like him, he’s been in and out of their side,’’ Wallace told SEN Drive.
‘‘They’ve got to just now play him as a regular in that line-up.’’
Marshall will be looking for a strong start to the year when Port Adelaide travel to Metricon Stadium to face the Gold Coast Suns in round one of the AFL season on Saturday, March 21.
