Blighty seniors back on court

Blighty Netball Club president Vicki Ackers said that she was hopeful to see some new faces join the club this year.

‘‘We have plenty of talent returning this year but we welcome any netballers who want to join our senior ranks,’’ she said.

‘‘We have our brilliant new facilities at the club and a very welcoming atmosphere.

‘‘We are still in the process of selecting an A grade coach for the 2020 season, but right now our focus is getting back on the court to build on our fitness.’’

Ackers also added that the club’s junior ranks are thriving at the moment, with the Under 15s and Under 13s both fresh off a grand final appearance.

‘‘We have plenty of young talent in our junior grades,’’ she said.

‘‘It’s looking as though we’ll have strong junior numbers again this year.’’
