It’s a busy place at present, with renovations and lots of golf; and it’s only going to get busier.
A feature this weekend is the club’s charity Funday fundraiser on Sunday, which is a great opportunity for our many learners to play in a competition round.
The Funday is a four-person ambrose format with at least one non-handicap player in each team.
You can put a team together or just write your name on the list in the pro shop and teams will be drawn.
Players should gather at noon for a 12.30pm shotgun start.
Refreshments and a barbecue will be available on course; the $25 entry fee covers golf and sausage sizzle.
Coming up in early March is the popular Autumn Classic, on the Victorian Labor Day long weekend of March 7 and 8.
Get your partner for this fourball best ball stableford event - entry forms are available on the club’s website or at the pro shop.
In golfing action over the past week, Denise Seignior had a day out last Thursday with an impressive 45 points to win the ladies stableford event by a whopping seven shots from Jenny Swainger.

In B grade Albert Liebenberg had the best score of the day with 42 points to defeat Bob Landy on 39, and in C grade Marg Menadue with 36 points defeated Laurie Hughes on countback.
The mixed veterans had their first 2020 competition on Monday and the winner was Peter Beckton with 40 points on countback from Denise Hunter.
On Tuesday the ladies’ competition was won by Jen Choice with 25 points, from Bev Purtill on 22.
The men’s Wednesday stableford event was won by Matt Thomas with a super round of 38 points, which was 70 off the stick and included six birdies. Runner-up on countback was Noel Swainger.

Don’t forget, while the kitchen renovations are underway there are no Friday night meals, but raffles continue as usual.
