The rain cleared and the sun came out once again, with only some slight dampness underfoot at the Hardinge St oval.
In the five year-old game, Levi Robson took a great pack mark and Jack Priest kicked a long goal.
The McDonald’s Deniliquin award winners were Jewel Winter, Oliver Barling and Oliver Hall who all showed great improvement.
In the six year-old game, Edward Bliss showed he has a strong left boot with some big kicks.

In the 7/8 year-old age group, the awards went to Ned Wettenhall, Ollie Bull and Jaxon Rothe.
In the nine and above age group the stars of the match were Ari Strongman, Jack McGrillen and Pheobe Newman.

Wet conditions on Saturday didn’t dampen the spirts of the Deni Auskickers as they took on the Blighty fifths players in another scratch match.
The Redeyes kindly invited the Auskickers to play at their oval and it was a fairly even match with no scores kept.
Standout players from Auskick were Ava Marshall and the Circuitt twins — Zoe and Alice — while Tom Bull and Ollie Murray were also great in the midfield.
