The club also welcomed newcomers who practiced their badminton skills on the spare courts.

Team Smashers won victory over Shuttle Masters with a close score of 294 to 289. 

There were no three game winners in this match, however all the games were evenly scored.

In the other match, Hotshots defeated Racqueteers with a relatively close score of 297 to 272. 

Congratulations to Mark Jeffrey for winning three games for Racqueteers, and being the only person to win three games overall on the night.

Team Smashers have the bye on Monday.
