It was a physically contested battle all game for the girls despite the score. The first quarter began with the same drive and energy as last week.
A great team defensive effort across the court created intercepts and turnovers that were quickly converted to goals.
The strong shooting combination of Hayley Denny and Carissa Bulmer, on her first game back, had the team in front 14 to 3 at the first break.
The second quarter provided the same pressure from both teams and saw communication increase as the girls utilised their voices to assert their dominance on the court.
Encouragement from Abbey Wills and Eddy Barclay in defence and direction from the attackers saw the team lift and start working as a unit to increase their lead.
With changes going into the second half, Matilda Glowrey and Georgia McCulloch continued to create turnovers seizing opportunities to allow the shooters to score.
A strategic swap of goal positions allowed Bulmer to use her skills and provide knowledge in directing Hayley who consistently shot accurately.
The final quarter saw the girls, comfortable with their lead but still determined to do their best, display a top-quality 15 minutes of netball.
With a change of midcourt, Britt Kirby and Sienna Jenkins provided a fast-paced steady flow to the game.
An overall victory of doubling the score of the opposition reflected the players ability to lift and come together as a team.
