The Bloods also have a bye next week, which is a disappointing start to the year considering the effort put in during the pre-season.
On Saturday, the club looked to the reserves to stamp Toc’s ground for the year.
Reserves – Tocumwal 21.20 146 def Yarroweyah 0.0.
The reserves are a pretty handy side.
The game saw Tocumwal dominate from start to finish, holding the Hoppers scoreless.
Toc focused on rotating guys on and off the bench and just trying to get some run in the legs.
Duane Haebich had eight goals before half time, and then put the cue in the rack!
The last quarter saw most of Toc’s top line players resting on the bench.
In the end it was a comfortable win for the Bloods, who now focus on the biggest home game of the year - Good Friday versus Berrigan on April 15.
