Division 1 consolidated their second position on the ladder with a 24 shot win over Mathoura.
Conway Bovell called the shots for Harry Lea, Rob Morris and Chris Taylor as they powered to a resounding victory, 27 shots to 8.
Incidentally, Rob Morris “took one for the team” when he postponed an important appointment with Lorna and Russell Bowles so that he could take his place in the team.
Mark Quor’s combination won by 10 shots, while Steve O’Brien’s rink went down 20 shots to 25.
In Division 3, Maxine Norton’s side including John Murray, Joy McArthur and Alan Hardcastle led 9-nil after only five ends.
They were never threatened, cruising to a 14 shot victory.
Tony King’s rink claimed a crucial shot on the final end to be beaten 10 shots to 23, which gave Deniliquin the overall victory by that solitary shot.
