Police said they were forced to physically restrain and handcuff a 38 year-old Deniliquin man they allege was in breach of an apprehended violence order and bail conditions.

Police said they attempted to arrest the man after the car he was in was stopped in Macauley St, Deniliquin, but say he became aggressive.
The man had only just left the Deniliquin Police Station where he had reported on bail as per his conditions.
But police allege after leaving the station he got into a car with the woman he was restricted from seeing due to conditions on the AVO.
The AVO was issued following an alleged incident in December, after which the man was given conditional bail.
