A Grade
Rennie 26 defeated by Strathmerton 60
Welcoming back Hannah Shoppee into the side brought some depth to the Hoppers game and the ability to cover some attacking gaps.
Mikayla McAuliffe was positive the whole game and gave her all, winning best on. A tough battle saw Rennie a bit deflated against a very classy Strathy side.
Brooke McDougall again played a great game in defence and then swinging to attack.
The last round next week will be focused on positivity and finishing the season playing as a team.

Under 17s
Rennie 55 defeated Strathmerton 23.
A slow start to the game which lead to a few unforced errors off Rennie’s own slackness and want for the ball.
The second half showed a large improvement, seeing the midcourt working their passes into the ring and strong drives down the court.
Defensive pressure was again the strongest aspect of team strategy, stemming from the defensive circle and their communication and clean hands-on rebounds.
The goalers worked hard this week with many rebounds coming up, yet they didn't drop their heads and kept pushing them up.
A few hard weeks coming up at training to prepare for finals, but the Under 17s definitely have what it takes, and the girls will give it their all.

Rennie 51 defeated Strathmerton 7.
This week the Under 15s girls had a few injuries and illness' leaving them with 6 girls for Saturday giving two under 13s girls the opportunity to step up and play with the Under 15s girls.
The Under 15s girls had a quiet start to the game and needed a little time to relax and get used to playing with some new girls.
Charlotte stepped up this week and came out firing with multiple intercepts and covered her opponent all game.
It was great to see Mia read the play on the court and throw some excellent passes into Alani in the goal circle matched with Alanis confidence her shots went in from everywhere in the circle.
Sophie was a great voice on the court in C matched with Iris and Violet in the mid-court it was great to see these girls work together in different positions.
Rennie also had Tess Bassett step up this week into defence with older sister Lucy and these Bassett sisters were the dynamic duo on game day.
Lucy gave Tess some great guidance in the goal circle and both girls worked excellent together putting a lot of pressure on the shooters and had hands on every single rebound.
A massive thank you to Charlotte Burrows and Tess Bassett for stepping up and helping the Under 15s girls out this week as they would not have been able to take the court without you two.
Another great win for the girls this week and it was amazing to see them work together as a team and progress with their netball skills.

A great game played by the girls this week, a close game too.
The defenders were on top of the ball, intercepting many, resulting in a turn over.
The mid court focused on spreading out and moving to the space which they did very well.
The shooters once again shot amazingly and worked around the ring beautifully. great game girls!
