Former Olympic boxer Damien Duncan Hooper has been committed to stand trial after being accused of a violent robbery in Brisbane.
The ex-WBO and IBF light heavyweight champion appeared via video-link in custody at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Police allege Hooper, 30, robbed a person and "used personal violence" in New Farm in July 2022.
Hooper - who contested the 2012 London Olympics and 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games for Australia - has been charged with robbery.
Hooper's lawyer Dylan Hans on Thursday conceded there was a prima facie case for his client without requiring the court to consider evidence.
Hooper was committed to stand trial in Brisbane District Court by magistrate Michael Quinn at a date to be fixed.
Hooper - who turned pro in 2013, featuring on the Jeff Horn-Manny Pacquiao undercard - did not apply for bail.
He will also face four counts of entering premises, two each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and wilful damage along with charges of assault occasioning bodily harm, driving without a licence, obstructing police, trespass, attempted entering a dwelling with intent and breach of bail at various dates.
Hooper compiled a 14-1 win-loss record featuring nine knockout victories over a five-year professional boxing career.
