It’s time to start thinking about the 2020 school year, and knowing when to be back is important.
For local NSW students (western school division), Term 1 will start on Wednesday, February 5.
Tuesday, February 4 is a staff development day, which are hosted the day before students return every term.
Term 1 is ten weeks long and will end on Thursday, April 9 for a two week break.
Term 2 begins on Tuesday, April 28 and is also ten weeks long. The two week winter break will begin after Friday, July 3.
Term 3 is from Tuesday, July 21 to Friday, September 25, followed by another two week break.
Term 4 will run from Wednesday, October 13 to Friday, December 18 before a seven week summer break.
Victorian students return to the classroom on Wednesday, January 29 for a nine week term ending on Friday, March 27.
After a two week break, Term 2 will run from Tuesday, April 14 to Friday, June 26.
Term 3 is from Monday, July 13 to Friday, September 18.
The final term of the year will be from Monday, October 5 to Friday, December 18, followed by a six week summer break.
