Bride, groom seen floating the Edward

With participants invited to ‘dress up’, the pair made sure to visit their local op shop for some inspiration before heading to Deni on Saturday.

Lauren said it was a ‘‘random thought’’ based on what they found that inspired them to dress like a bride and groom.

‘‘I picked up the wedding dress for $20 and the veil was $30,’’ she said.

‘‘And Nathan’s whole suit cost just $1.

‘‘The information said to dress up, so we went shopping.’’

Nathan said they chose to come to Deniliquin to float so they could do ‘‘something different’’ on Australia Day.
