She adapted to the challenges of 2020 by delivering programs and initiatives to stay connected with her customers while the business was closed.
With a commitment to her own personal development, she enthusiastically takes on any new responsibility she is given.
‘‘I feel like Evolve is where I was always meant to be, and I can work in a field I love and excel at,’’ Terri said,.
‘‘My current position now includes assisting the Evolve manager Jenna (Kaine) with day-to-day business operations, meetings, marketing and new projects.
‘‘I work with exercise physiology clients, and instruct group Pilates Mat work, Pilates Reformer and Yoga classes.
‘‘I also assist Evolve members to complete fitness assessments, aid with class and exercise development and train, mentor and extend the Evolve staff.
‘‘I am continually looking at developing my knowledge by way of research and training and growing my passion for Pilates.
‘‘I have the training, and experience to step into any clinical or general fitness role within the business, and I can fill in if other employees are away.
‘‘I feel I am a very approachable, friendly team player, and I am always willing to help whenever required.’’
Terri has taken on a greater role at Evolve in recent times, while Jenna has been on maternity leave. She said it has ‘‘proven a challenge, but one that I am enjoying immensely’’.
‘‘I have asked for help when needed and I have learnt a lot about many aspects of the business, and it has inspired me to want to look into further business training,’’ Terri said.
‘‘I feel that I have worked very well with our team to ensure that Evolve has continued to be organised and efficient, as well as continuing to provide excellent service to our wonderful members and clients.
‘‘The team at Evolve are like my family and my clients are friends, and all are very important to me.
‘‘I always endeavour to go above and beyond expectations in whatever my role requires of me.
‘‘I want the very best for Evolve and our Deniliquin community and I was very humbled and proud to be nominated for this award, for working in a role and in a business that I love so much.’’
