Marking 40 years since the reserve project was established, guests were treated to a tour with short stops for informative talks.
At the end of the tour, the group gathered for the unveiling of interpretive signage at its Fowler St entrance. It was followed by a delicious morning tea.
Guests included original reserve volunteers, school children who have helped with reserve maintenance, representatives of partner organisations and other interested community members.
