With more space, Evolve have been able to purchase more equipment and even introduce a brand new class - ‘stretch + strengthen’.
This low impact class is focused on slow, controlled movements, posture and technique while incorporating matwork pilates, hand weights, resistance bands, fitballs, sliders, chairs, steps and much more.
Evolve manager Jenna Kaine said the Evolve team has specifically designed the class to benefit individuals of all ages and abilities, including those pre and post-natal.
“Stretch + Strengthen has been well received by our clients, as we have developed this class with them in mind,” Mrs Kaine said.
“We know that everyone is different, and we love to be able to offer classes to suit all abilities, with plenty of options, so that everyone benefits.”
The Energy Studio is also home to classes such as barbell and step, TRX suspension, Evolve Punch boxing, DanceFit, Evolve fusion and super circuit.
“This extra large space is also the perfect space for private group bookings, already being utilised for pre-season fitness sessions, as well as local business staff fitness and wellbeing sessions,” Mrs Kaine said.
Kids have also been catered for in the renovations, with the space allowing for the expansion of the KidsFit holiday program - suitable for children five and up and registered to accept both Active and Creative Kids vouchers.
Kids parties are also catered for in this space.
Other studios at Evolve include the Core Studio/Power Studio which is home to a 24/7 gym and BOOST gym circuit class and the Wellness Studio for yoga and pilates.
All studios are fully climate-controlled and have dedicated KidsZone areas designed to keep your children safe and entertained while you workout!
The other expansion at Evolve has been in staffing, with Mrs Kaine, Ashlee Huntly and Ellie McGrath now joined by two school based trainees - Maddie Weir and Mollie Maher.
Other positions have also been created thanks to the renovations.
“Maddie and Mollie joined us in 2022 and are currently completing their Certificate III in fitness as part of their Year 11 and 12 studies at Deniliquin High School,” Mrs Kaine said.
“Evolve also have openings for qualified group fitness instructors (cert III), personal trainers (cert IV) and an exercise physiologist, which our existing allied health assistant will provide support for.
“The number of hours available is negotiable and varies for each position.”
Coming up at Evolve is the new ‘Evolve outdoors’ program.
Starting February 27, the six week course is designed to improve both physical and mental fitness while enjoying the fresh air and natural spaces.
Full class timetables and upcoming offers and events are available of Evolve’s social media sites.
