Former local Robbie Sefton is the ambassador for the Edward River Council celebrations which start at 8.30am in the Waring Gardens, Deniliquin.
Deniliquin Rotary will provide a community breakfast at no charge from 8.30am followed by the Australia Day ceremony at 10am.
The were 21 nominations across a number of categories this year and 12 residents will take their Australia Day citizenship pledge.
Following the presentations the Waring Gardens will be full of activities including sand art for the children, balloon animals and you can choose form coffee, ice-cream, pancakes and much more to continue to celebrate the day.

If you chose to celebrate in the Murray River Council, there are seven Australia Day ceremonies being held across the council area.
Olympic shooter James Willett has been announced as the official ambassador and will conduct a presentation at the Moama Recreational Reserve’s main oval as part of the days festivities.
The day will start with breakfast at 7.30am.
Former AFL and Kangaroos Champion Brent Harvey will be the ambassador for the Mathoura Australia Day ceremony.
He will join NSW member for Murray Helen Dalton at the 8am ceremony at the Soldiers’ Memorial Gardens.
The day’s program will kick off with a delicious breakfast of bacon, eggs and sausages expertly cooked by experienced community members.
Following the official ceremony there will be the Australia Day cake to be cut, and some delicious patty cakes to be devoured.
Other Murray River Council ceremonies are as follows:
• Barham - The breakfast and Australia Day ceremony will be hosted at Riverside Park from 9am.
• Moulamein - Meet at The Triangle for breakfast and the Australian Day ceremony at 8am.
• Wakool - Despite a later start than other ceremonies, beginning at 10am, the Wakool ceremony will also be a breakfast and ceremony event.
• Tooleybuc - Meet at Mensforth Park for breakfast and the Australia Day ceremony from 7.30am.
• Koraleigh - Breakfast will be from 7am at the Koraleigh Recreation Reserve, followed by the Australia Day ceremony.
