Corowa High School graduate, Molly plans to study psychology next year.
Corowa High School students have chosen a wide variety of study and career pathways once again this year. We are very proud of their efforts and achievements and know that they will go out into the world to make their mark, as many others have done before them.

Those study and career pathways include Business, Veterinary Technology, Nursing, Education, Law, Engineering, Agricultural Science, Physiotherapy, Environmental Management, Dietetics/Nutrition, Psychology and the Australian Defence Force Academy.
Claire will go to work in her family business while Victoria goes on to study environmental management.
Students have applied for and already been accepted into courses in Victoria, South Australia, NSW, Queensland and the ACT, so will be heading in many different directions either next year or the following year as some like to have a gap year and take the opportunity to work and save or travel overseas.
Other of our students have taken up apprenticeships or traineeships in various trades including cabinetmaking, engineering, agriculture and electrotechnology.
Unfortunately, some trade areas continue to experience a severe shortage of apprentices. I speak daily with business owners, who have a lot of work, but who are struggling to find young people, who wish to take up their apprenticeships.
Connor is joining the Australian Defence Force.
Please make sure that you check out my Corowa High School Careers Facebook page for regular updates on a whole raft of career related information and opportunities.
This year Corowa CLC (TAFE) ran the first year of a two-year Electrotechnology course for our students. This free course ran each Wednesday morning and we are most grateful to Kellie Ralph and Kylie Hynes for initiating this for us. Some students have taken alternate pathways or have secured apprenticeships, while others will continue into the second year of the program.
The TAFE also ran two other short programs, bricklaying and hair and beauty. These programs were also free of charge to our students.
We have had several students successfully complete school-based traineeships this year and we already have four commencing in 2026. If you would like to know more about this program please contact the school.
Tyler is taking up an electrical apprenticeship at Kayanee Electrical, Corowa.
A sincere thank you to our many local employers and businesses, who have taken our young people into work experience and employment. We could not do what we do without your ongoing support.
