Police were called to a community sports facility about 5pm Saturday to investigate a break-in.
Police found a 55-year-old woman inside the building, and allege she was yelling at and abusing members of the public.
She was removed from the property by police and issued a move on direction, which police say she did not comply with.
She also allegedly verbally abused police before she was arrested and taken to Deniliquin police station to be charged.
Police believe others may have been involved in the alleged break-in, and are continuing to investigate.
Theft from car
Police are investigating the alleged theft of a welding helmet and car charger from a vehicle that was parked on Victoria Street, Deniliquin.
The items are believed to have been taken between August 30 and September 6.

Staff member headbutted
Police are investigating an alleged assault at a licensed premises in Deniliquin.
Police were called to the venue about 8.30pm after a patron allegedly assaulted an employee.
The unknown male had been asked to leave the premises due to his level of intoxication.
He initially complied, but allegedly returned a short time later and headbutted the staff member.
The man had already left again by the time police arrived.

Attempted break-in
A Deniliquin business has been damaged after what is believed to be a failed break-in attempt.
Police said it appears someone tried to force open the front door of a Cressy St business in Deniliquin about 5.30am on Wednesday, September 3.
The person was unsuccessful in gaining entry and fled the scene.
