The highlight of the week was the NAIDOC Koori Market, which brought an influx of people into the Deniliquin CBD on Thursday.
The market is hosted by the Deniliquin Local Aboriginal Lands Council, with support from other local organisations and service providers.
Open air market stalls feature local artists and makers who were able to showcase their talents.
There were hand painted gift items, paintings, jewellery and more.
There was also a craft table and jumping castle for the young ones to enjoy, and Murray River District Police were on hand to talk more about policing and community safety.
Adding to the sensations of the markets was a classic barbecue lunch with sausages and rissoles on offer, cooked by Deniliquin Lions Club volunteers.
Inside the Multi Arts Centre was an expo of local businesses and organisations, showcasing the services and programs they provide.
The other main event held during NAIDOC Week was a flag raising ceremony, run by Murray River Police District with the support of Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
